Helping Latino Employees Seek Help for Personal Problems from Your EAP

Latino employees aren't much different from other employees. Research shows that the more employees know about your company's EAP policy and perceive management's support of the program and approval of those who seek help using it, the more likely it is that employees will use the EAP.

 

This is called reducing behavioral risk to your organization. Find ways to reach risk with help and resources and you will experience fewer human and financial costs associated with those risks.

 

Some of these "outreach" efforts can be amazingly cheap. That means they are super cost-beneficial. A Spanish Orientation product to the EAP is a great example.

There is no reason to believe that Latino employees are different than other employees in this regard, but there is one difference: There are few EAP Orientation Training products in Spanish--and there are no such programs available in Flash Video or Web Courses or PowerPoint products --- except from WorkExcel.com.

Two, that the program is protected by establishing a "no index" command so search engines like Google ignore it. This is accomplished by your webmaster in page set-up. It's simple. Now people from around the world can't use your website after discovering it.
